BOISE, Idaho – (RealEstateRama) — Idaho Housing and Finance Association has announced the spring and summer schedules for its signature Finally Home!® Homebuyer Education course. Classes are now offered across the state in Boise, Nampa, Twin Falls, Idaho Falls, Coeur d’Alene, Sandpoint and Moscow.
Finally Home! Homebuyer Education classes are specifically designed to guide first-time homebuyers through the home buying process, and include tips for selecting a REALTOR®, understanding credit scores, and how to qualify for the best loan. Upon completion, graduates may qualify for programs such as down payment and closing cost assistance, special programs, and lower mortgage insurance premiums.
According to Heather Bowman, homebuyer education and counseling administrator for Idaho Housing, the class offering has been very well-received. “We’re very excited about how the public is responding to our class offerings,” said Bowman. “Graduates of Finally Home! tell us they saved a lot of money using the ideas taught in the class, which were a major help in getting them into their home.”
The classes are offered monthly at seven statewide locations. Here is the current class schedule through July, with future classes to be announced late summer.
