BOISE, ID - July 13, 2011 - (RealEstateRama) -- Melody C. Redondo, 33, of Meridian, Idaho, was sentenced today to 15 months in prison followed by five years of supervised release for making a false statement to a financial institution, U.S. Attorney Wendy J. Olson announced. Chief U.S. District Judge B. Lynn Winmill also ordered Redondo to pay $333,403.26 in restitution and perform 80 hours of community service. She pleaded guilty to the charge on February 15, 2011.

BOISE, ID - July 12, 2011 - (RealEstateRama) -- A statewide count of homeless persons in Idaho conducted by Idaho Housing and Finance Association (IHFA) and regional housing coalitions, indicates there are 2,199 homeless in the state, over a six percent decrease from the 2,346 registered last year.

BOISE, ID - July 8, 2011 - (RealEstateRama) -- Idaho Housing and Finance Association (IHFA) was awarded the administration of four Project Based Contract Administration (PBCA) contracts by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Last year, IHFA performed PBCA monitoring on 3,362 apartment units in Idaho. With the new contracts, IHFA will now monitor an additional 15,261

BOISE, ID - June 13, 2011 - (RealEstateRama) -- Idaho Housing and Finance Association (IHFA) received two new grants from the U.S. Housing and Urban Development to support homeless projects in eight different counties. The two grants, valued at $223,564, will invest funding in local projects that will provide critically needed housing and support services to homeless individuals and families.
