$5,000 grant to Idaho Partners for Homebuyer Education from Bank of America will support Finally Home! Homebuyer Education Program
BOISE, ID – May 17, 2010 – (RealEstateRama) — The Bank of America Charitable Foundation recently contributed $5,000 to the Finally Home!® Homebuyer Education Program administered by Idaho Partners for Homebuyer Education, Inc. (IPHBE, Inc.). Bank of America has contributed nearly $30,000 since the program’s inception in 1999.
These funds will be used to assist Finally Home!® with its operating expenses, such as reimbursement of the training partners, as well as costs of printing and distribution of the homebuyer education textbooks statewide.
“The financial support from Bank of America has enabled us to reach and educate more first-time homebuyers across Idaho, which is especially important given the current economic situation,” said Heather Harrison, Finally Home!® Homebuyer Education/Counseling Administrator. “Their participation in the Finally Home!® program contributes to our success and helps potential homeowners across the state.”
“Homebuyer education and financial literacy are the keys to successful homeownership for first-time buyers, and Idaho Partners for Homebuyer Education offers some of the best resources out there to help more Idahoans achieve the American dream,” said Kurt Walsdorf, Idaho Market President, Bank of America. “We are proud to help support the thousands of families who have participated in the Finally Home!® program, and to help contribute to the economic stability of Idaho’s communities.”
