BOISE – February 12, 2013 – (RealEstateRama) — Mark Dunham has been appointed to the seven-member Idaho Housing and Finance Association (IHFA) Board of Commissioners.
Dunham has extensive experience in housing policy and economic development. He was CEO of the Idaho Association REALTORS® for 18 years and was a board member for the Idaho Partners for Homebuyer Education. He also has served as vice president of the Idaho Association of Commerce and Industry and was the executive director for Idaho Associated General Contractors. Dunham recently joined Risch-Pisca as a legislative consultant.
Dunham has a solid background in civic, political and volunteer activities. He is a past director of government relations for Boise State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in communication in 1984. He is a trustee for the College of Western Idaho and was a member of the Idaho State Board of Education Presidential Screening Committee in 2002-03.
“Mr. Dunham’s expertise in real estate, economic development and legislative issues will be a valuable asset to the organization as we address housing issues statewide,” said Gerald M. Hunter, IHFA president and executive director. “We are pleased to welcome him to our board.”
IHFA commissioners are appointed by the governor to four-year terms and typically represent different regions of the state.
