First-time homebuyer education classes offered throughout Idaho Finally Home!® Homebuyer Education 2009 class schedule now available

-

BOISE, ID – January 30, 2009 – (RealEstateRama) — Finally Home!® Homebuyer Education classes – valuable, informative classes designed to educate first-time homebuyers about the purchase of a home – will be held across the state throughout 2009. Idaho Partners for Homebuyer Education, Inc. (IPHBE, Inc.) is again offering classes in partnership with regional training partners throughout Idaho. Classes are also available online in English and Spanish at www.ihfa.org/FinallyHomeOnlineCourse. In addition to discussing all the steps necessary to purchase a home, the Finally Home!® course covers budgeting and credit issues, predatory lending, and steps to take if a homeowner is facing foreclosure. The local class schedule is included below.

These classes are accessible to Spanish-speakers through a Spanish textbook, and through a DVD course available for viewing at regional training partners across the state. The fee for the classroom course, or to view a DVD of the Spanish course, is $10 per student. The online course fee is $50 per person, payable by Visa or MasterCard. More information about the Finally Home!® program is available at www.finallyhomeidaho.com.

“Given the current economic situation across the nation, it is more important than ever that potential homebuyers have the knowledge to make sound decisions about the purchase of a home,” said Sue Pisani, Finally Home!® Homebuyer Education Administrator. “Graduates of this course will have the confidence to make educated decisions and negotiate the purchase price and financing for a new home.”

IPHBE, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that has joined with local partners in Idaho to offer Finally Home!® classes every month statewide. The following pages list the schedule for classes around the state.
