Attn: Commissioners – Idaho Building Code

-

May 13, 2009 – (RealEstateRama) — The Idaho Building Code Board, in compliance with the passage of H220 and H218a, will be accepting input from local government as to which parts of the 2009 code locals may want to exempt or change statewide.  This is your opportunity to review the 2009 code and make recommendations, if any, to the board. You may want to consult with your building department and ask them to review the 2009 code in advance of recommending any code changes.  Remember that any exemptions or changes adopted by the board would be applied statewide, so they would have broader impact than just in your county.

Your  recommendations must be received by the board by May 27th.  Please read and follow the directions for submittal on the attached information received from the Division of Building Safety.  Your recommendations can be returned electronically via the website http://dbs.idaho.gov.
