Area REALTORS® to be recognized at IHFA luncheon Wednesday

Real estate professionals to receive “Your Key to Housing Opportunities” awards

CHUBBUCK, ID – April 17, 2009 – (RealEstateRama) — IdaMortgage, brought to you by Idaho Housing and Finance Association, will honor more than 70 Pocatello area REALTORS® who have represented IdaMortgage home loan buyers during an upcoming REALTOR® Appreciation Luncheon in Chubbuck. In total, these REALTORS® have represented 562 buyers who purchased their homes with IdaMortgage home loans totaling more than $57 million collectively.

“REALTORS® play an important role in providing information about IdaMortgage loan products,” said Susan Semba, IHFA’s director of Homeownership Lending. “I commend the recipients for their hard work and dedication to their field.”

The following REALTORS® will receive “Your Key to Housing Opportunities” Awards during a luncheon to be held at noon Wednesday, April 15 at the Mystique Theatre in Chubbuck. The awards presentation is slated to begin at 12:45 p.m.

Gold Award
Gail Bishard, Premier Properties Real Estate, Pocatello
Gail is a long-time Pocatello resident who became a REALTOR® in 1993. She was named Rookie of the Year that year, was named REALTOR® of the year in 2006, holds a decade-long Platinum member ranking at RE/MAX, and holds a Centurion designation as a top agent for Century 21. She serves on the board of directors for the Greater Pocatello Association of REALTORS® and has served as the director and co-chair of the REALTOR® Political Action Committee.

Silver Award
Steve Bartlett, Premier Properties Real Estate, Pocatello
A Pocatello resident since 1962, Steve worked as a traveling insurance salesman and then as an employee of Intermountain Gas before beginning his real estate career in 1996. In his 13-year career, he has consistently earned a place as one of the top REALTORS® in the area. He focuses on residential sales, and especially enjoys working with first-time homebuyers – a group that makes up 60% of his work.

Bronze Award
Lisa Ayers, Gate City Real Estate, Soda Springs
Lisa, who has lived in Soda Springs since 1972, was the top producer in her company last year. She partners with her REALTOR® daughter, Rikki Wood, to make an impact in her community. They are currently working with IdaMortgage and USDA Rural Development to help low-income homebuyers build self-help homes. Lisa is also on the Soda Springs Planning and Zoning Commission and City Beautification Committee.
