Finally Home!® Homebuyer Education 2012 Class Schedule Now Available

First-time homebuyer education classes offered across Idaho

December 28, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — BOISE—Finally Home!® Homebuyer Education classes will be held across the state throughout 2012. Idaho Partners for Homebuyer Education, Inc. (IPHBE Inc.) offers these informative classes to educate homebuyers about the home purchase process in partnership with regional training partners throughout Idaho. Classes are also available online in English and Spanish at www.finallyhomecourse.com.

The Finally Home!® course provides a roadmap for homebuyers, discussing all the necessary steps to purchasing a home, and helps potential homebuyers determine if they are in a financial position to purchase a home. Classes also cover home maintenance, budgeting, credit issues, mortgage lending products, how to qualify for a loan, and what to do when having trouble making your payments or facing foreclosure. The class schedule is included below.

Classes are also accessible to Spanish-speakers through a Spanish textbook, and a DVD course available for viewing at regional training partners statewide. The fee for the classroom course, or to view a DVD of the Spanish course, is $20 per student. The online course fee is $50 per person, payable by Visa or MasterCard. “Before you start the home purchase process, we encourage prospective home buyers to enroll in the class,” said Heather Bowman, Finally Home!® Homebuyer Education Administrator. “Our graduates consistently tell us that the skills they’ve learned in class have helped them make educated decisions and better negotiate the purchase price and financing for their new home.”

IPHBE Inc. is a nonprofit organization that has joined with local partners in Idaho to offer Finally Home!® classes every month statewide. The following page lists the class schedules statewide.

Finally Home! ® Homebuyer Education 2012 Schedule of Classes
Dates listed are for one 8-hour class or two 4-hour classes. All classes in the series must be completed to receive the Certificate of Achievement. Classes are subject to cancellation or rescheduling. All classes are held in provider’s city, unless advised otherwise. Please call the local Regional Training Partner for class locations. Pre-registration is required.
