Idaho Housing and Finance Association Welcomes John Insinger to Board of Commissioners
BOISE, ID – May 26, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — John Insinger has been appointed to Idaho Housing and Finance Association’s (IHFA’s) Board of Commissioners.
Insinger is currently an “of counsel” attorney to two law firms in Boise, Risch Pisca, LLP, and Goss Gustavel Goss, PLLC. As a partner of Risch Goss Insinger Gustavel, he spent 35 years as a private law practitioner focusing in general and commercial transactions and litigation.
“We are pleased to welcome Mr. Insinger to our Board,” said Gerald Hunter, IHFA’s president and executive director. “His extensive experience in general and commercial transactions will be a valuable asset to IHFA’s Board of Commissioners.”
Insinger is a former deputy prosecuting attorney for Ada County, former member of the Idaho Judicial Council, former member and chairman of the Idaho State Bar Professional Conduct Board and former president of the Idaho Fourth District Bar Association.
Born in San Diego, Insinger holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado and a law degree from the University of Idaho.
Insinger will be serving on IHFA’s seven-member Board, whose members are appointed by the Governor and typically represent different regions of the state. He was appointed to the Board March 2, 2011, and his term expires July 1, 2012.
IHFA is a self-supporting organization and uses no state funds or state employees to support its operations.
